There will be a 2 hour yoga session each morning before breakfast plus a further shorter session of either lunchtime meditation, or pre- dinner yoga on most days of the retreat.

Tanya has been practicing yoga since 1993 and has been teaching it full time since 2010.  She was also a pro- active group leader during her years as a front line police officer and she has a PhD in experimental psychology. She has taught at university level.


Tanya has taught in different styles over the years but has now settled with a style based on Scaravelli yoga and she currently studies with anatomy teacher Gary Carter, who is also influenced by the work of  Vanda Scaravelli.  This way of using  the body  allows us to find free and efficient movement . We learn to move with ease. Tanya also teaches meditation. She is  always passionate about helping people and there is some fun to be had in the classes too.
