The week will include 5 morning vinyasa flow classes and 5 evening yin yoga sessions. There will be one day without yoga classes to give you a full day to enjoy other activities or have a lie in and relax.
Some of the yoga classes will be replaced with workshops (workshops TBD). Previous workshops have included:
- Self Care – relieve muscular pain and tension through self-massage and myofascial/ trigger point release with tennis balls.
- Self Practice – develop a self practice that you can take home with you.
Charli teaches Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Yoga to groups and individual clients across London. In her classes movement is linked through the breath to build strength and freedom in the body, whilst positions are held to allow the body a chance to let go of tension and relax. Sequences and postures are adjusted to suit the level of the class, with the focus on breath awareness, alignment, building strength and core work. Her attitude to yoga and her warm caring personality shine through in her teaching style.
Charli’s passion for yoga was immediate from her first class. Working as an accountant, she found yoga completely wiped away the day’s stresses, allowing her to relax and clear her mind. She was hooked and has been committed to her practice ever since.
At heart she is an Ashtangi, loving the dynamic flow of the practice and how the practice always stays the same, yet the subtle changes to the body are so apparent. This has enabled her to develop a deep connection to the body; to have an awareness of how mental and emotional states present in physical form. Along with an Ashtanga practice, she loves the creative freedom in Vinyasa Flow and the graceful heart opening of Anusara Yoga.
Group classes are dynamic and flow with the breath (Viinyasa Flow, Ashtanga). Classes are small so you will get lots of personal attention, help and supportive adjustments throughout the class. The classes are suitable for all levels including complete beginners as modifications are offered for different abilities. Classes often focus on strengthening the core as this is key to enhancing your yoga practice and promoting a healthy posture on and off the mat. You will leave the class feeling freer and more spacious in your body, with a better posture, improved alignment, uplifted, calmer, less stressed, feeling stronger, increased flexibility and enhanced breathing
