What people have said about Norway

“Herangtunet is a fabulous place & for me worked really well as a yoga retreat venue. I really enjoyed it. Marco & Marie Jose have created a special place both luxurious,  comfortable yet laid back & they are great hosts, very helpful & friendly & they clearly work very hard.
The food, especially the breakfast buffet was fantastic .We had a lot of dietary requirements that they had to cater for which I’m sure was challenging. Its the first time I’ve been on a yoga week where we were served dinner which was nice as Marco always did a little chat.
All the rooms were lovely & atmospheric. I stayed in the Icelandic room which I loved.
Top marks for the yoga barn, sauna, outdoor fire which we never lit ( think people were more keen to stay inside as it was freezing) & all the activities.
I also teach yoga and would have been delighted if I was hosting here. It’s a really special place & people appreciated that Norway is expensive .
Emma also was a really good teacher & very patient & helpful.
I would definitely go back there for sure & does need to be pitched like you did it
well done to all. A winter wonderland
Thanks so much” Jane Damer 2016
“I had a wonderful time at Herangtunet. The hotel was utterly lovely, the hosts were wonderful and the rooms were luxurious and beautiful. The setting could not have been more perfect – total silent snowy wilderness. I am inclined to say that long walks through this landscape were even more healing and spiritual than the yoga itself! The hosts were great at showing us where to go for hikes and were always super helpful.

All in all I really enjoyed the week and would consider coming again.” Kristina Kasmi 2017

“Herangtunet is a wonderful venue in the snow and the rooms are lovely. The food is superb and the breakfasts are brilliant. The hosts and staff are excellent and a ‘Herangtunet experience’ is something to be savoured.” Peter Croudace 2017
